Intro to Sailing Course:

Learn the basics of sail trim and boat handling in a 4 hour class on a 30 foot racing sailboat. This is a great way to get a feel for what sailing is about. There are no books or tests, but if you decide that sailing is for you, you can take our NauticEd Skipper course at a reduced rate.

• 4 hours of sailing instruction on a 30 foot sailboat.

NauticEd Skipper Course:

​

Ready to take the next step? This course will teach you the skills and knowledge you need to confidently take a large keelboat out for a sail. It is a combination of practical on-the-water training from a professionally licensed and certified instructor and NauticEd's eLearning technology that you can work through in the comfort of your home or on the go, using your computer or mobile device. This course includes a practical competency assessment, which if passed, will automatically be added to the student's online logbook and sailing résumé. This will also allow the student to achieve NauticEd's Skipper Rank at the end of the class, instead of having to log another 6 days on the water.

• NauticEd Skipper Course interactive online theory lessons. (approx. 20 hours)

• NauticEd Manuevering Under Power Clinic interactive online theory lessons. (approx. 3 hours)

• 16 hours of sailing instruction over 4 days on a 30 foot sailboat.

• Automated online sailing résumé generated from log book.
